Receiver Initialisation
After
a battery change, the mode of the remote receiver must be set. The
receiver can be set to 3 modes according to the table. It remains in
this mode until the battery is changed or removed. To select the mode,
insert the battery and press one of the following buttons for at least
1second on the remote.
 | for CHDK standard (receiver answers with 1 long & 1 short pulse) |
| + | for CHDK fast (receiver answers with 1 long & 4 short pulses) |
| MENU | for Ricoh fast (receiver answers with 1 long & 3 short pulses) |
This
has to be done from a distance of approx. 3cm from the receiver. The
receiver answers with a blink code of the status LED when the button on
the remote is released.
Receiver Wakeup
After a certain
timeout of inactivity the receiver enters the sleep mode. To wake it up
from sleeping press any key on the remote from a distance of approx.
3cm to the receiver. The receiver answers with a blink code of the
green status LED.
Configuring the Sleep Timer
The sleep
timeout can be configured in 5 steps: 2 (default), 5, 10, 15, 30
minutes. To enter the configuration menu press the MENU button on the
remote for at least 1 second. The receiver indicates the mode with the
green LED, which is permanently on. Now it is possible to select the
sleep time with the + and - button on the remote. The remote indicates
the mode with blink codes (1x 2min., 2x 5min. ...). To exit press
MENU on the remote for at least 1 second.
